From Our Family to Yours: Why We're Supporting National Pyjama Day!

Hi everyone!

My daughter, Sophie, and I are proud to be the Team Captains for Sandon Point Children's Centre's National Pyjama Day fundraiser.

As both an early childhood teacher and a mum, I know how important it is for every child to have caring adults who help them feel safe, valued, and supported. Sadly, many children in foster care experience challenges that can impact their confidence, learning, and sense of belonging. That's why Sophie and I are passionate about supporting The Pyjama Foundation and the incredible work they do through their Pyjama Angel mentoring program.

By taking part in National Pyjama Day, we're helping provide children in foster care with mentors who encourage literacy, build confidence, and create lasting, positive relationships. It's also a wonderful opportunity for the children at Sandon Point Children's Centre to learn about kindness, empathy, generosity, and active citizenship by supporting others in our wider community.
