First Grammar Gumnut Drive National Pyjama Day Fundraiser
Every child deserves the chance to feel safe, supported, and confident in their future. However, for many children in foster care, this is sadly not always their reality.
Frequent moves between homes and schools can disrupt a child’s learning, relationships, and sense of stability. Without the right support, these challenges can have lasting impacts on their education, wellbeing, and future opportunities.
That is why First Grammar Gumnut Drive is taking part in National Pyjama Day on Friday 24 July.
By wearing our cosiest pyjamas and raising funds, we are helping The Pyjama Foundation support children in foster care through their life-changing Pyjama Angel mentoring program. Pyjama Angels are volunteer mentors who are carefully recruited, screened, trained, and matched with a child who needs them most.
These mentors do more than read books or help with homework. They build trust, confidence, connection, and a love of learning, helping children in care dream bigger and believe in themselves.
Families are invited to make an optional donation to support this wonderful cause. Every contribution, big or small, helps make a difference.
Together, we can help children in foster care feel supported, valued, and confident in their future.
Be the reason a child in care believes in themselves. Donate today.
