For many children living in foster care, frequent moves between homes and schools can make it difficult to build friendships, feel settled, and enjoy learning.
This is why Gum Nut is taking part in National Pyjama Day!
By wearing our favourite pyjamas and raising funds, we are supporting The Pyjama Foundation and the incredible work they do to help children in foster care thrive.
Funds raised will help recruit, screen, train, and support volunteer "Pyjama Angels" who are carefully matched with children in foster care. These mentors provide more than literacy support and homework help. They offer encouragement, consistency, and a trusted relationship that helps children build confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a meaningful difference in a child's life.
