At GEC&C Abbotsford, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive. Yet for many children living in foster care, frequent transitions between homes and schools can impact their sense of belonging, wellbeing, confidence, and connection to learning.
This is why we are proud to be taking part in National Pyjama Day in support of The Pyjama Foundation.
Through our PJ’s with Purpose – GEC&C Abbotsford donation drive, we are coming together as a community to help provide children in foster care with something truly meaningful - a dedicated Pyjama Angel mentor.
These volunteer mentors offer far more than support with reading and learning. They provide consistency, encouragement, trusted relationships, and positive role modelling - helping children build confidence, resilience, and a stronger belief in their future.
Every donation helps The Pyjama Foundation recruit, screen, train, and match mentors with children who need support the most.
Together, we can help create brighter futures for children in care - one connection, one story, and one child at a time.
