Imagine being a child who doesn't know where they will be living next month, or whether they'll be starting at another new school.
For thousands of children living in foster care, this uncertainty is part of everyday life. Frequent moves can make it difficult to build friendships, keep up with learning, and believe in themselves.
Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and to know that someone is always in their corner.
That's why our kindergarten is proudly supporting National Pyjama Day.
On this special day, we'll wear our pyjamas to kinder while raising funds for The Pyjama Foundation, helping provide children in foster care with a dedicated volunteer mentor known as a Pyjama Angel.
A Pyjama Angel offers something every child deserves—a caring, consistent adult who listens, encourages, reads stories, helps with learning, celebrates achievements, and reminds a child that they matter. These relationships can build confidence, strengthen a love of learning, and change the direction of a child's future.
As kindergarten educators, we see every day how powerful one caring, trusted adult can be in a child's life. Together, we can help ensure more children have that opportunity.
