Each child deserves the chance to feel safe, supported, seen, and confident in their future and in themselves but for many children in foster care, that is far from reality.

These struggles and major life changes at such a young age such as: Frequent moves between homes, multiple changing of schools, little to no contact with family and feeling uncomfortable in unknown homes can disrupt their learning, relationships, social skills and their sense of stability is gone. A lot of kids in care also have no parents and none to little close family which can cause a lot of trauma and issues for their future. Without the right support, these challenges can have lasting effects on their education, wellbeing, and future life opportunities. Each child deserves a chance at life!

They build trust, confidence, and a love of learning that can change the course of a child’s life.
