For many children living in foster care, life can be filled with uncertainty. Frequent changes in homes, schools, and caregivers can impact their sense of belonging, confidence, learning, and overall wellbeing. These challenges can make it difficult for children to build strong relationships and feel secure in their future.
That is why our ARKIE community is proudly participating in National Pyjama Day.
By wearing our pyjamas and raising funds, we are supporting the important work of The Pyjama Foundation, helping provide children in foster care with something truly invaluable—a dedicated Pyjama Angel mentor.
Pyjama Angels are specially trained volunteers who spend time with children, helping them develop literacy skills, build confidence, and create positive connections. Through mentoring, encouragement, and friendship, they help children discover their strengths, believe in themselves, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Every donation made through our National Pyjama Day fundraiser helps recruit, screen, train, and match a Pyjama Angel with a child who needs support.
As a community that is passionate about nurturing children and helping them thrive, we invite our families, educators, and friends to join us in making a difference.
