Join us in making a difference for the often neglected kids of Lomanyaneng village, Mafikeng (North West)

On National Pajama Day, July 25th, the women of Lomanyaneng Village will be hosting a special library outreach for kids in the community who face significant barriers to education. Many of these children spend their days on the streets or in unsafe environments, missing out on vital learning opportunities that could shape their future.

Our team has identified 13 young children between the ages of three and six (and one 12-year-old) who could greatly benefit from learning support. Our library outreach programme combines play, art, and reading activities to promote healthy development, utilizing the resources available at the Lomanyaneng Community Library to break down learning barriers in these young minds.

In the past, our outreach event has been a huge success, with kids enjoying puppet shows, storytelling, play, snacks and gifted with donated toys. This National Pajama Day, we would love to make it an extra special day for them by celebrating the joy of learning in their favorite PJs.

The life trajectories of these children lies in the united hands of our society. As such we are reaching out for donations of:

Pajamas
Slippers, and
Snack packs.

Your contribution will bring joy and warmth to these deserving children. If you are touched to become part of putting a smile on an often-neglected child and leave them with a warmth that will stay long after the event, alongside its experience, we will provide size lists prior and event photos to share on your platforms, showcasing the spirit of community and support that makes a real difference in their lives.

Thank you for considering our request. Every donation counts.

Best regards,
