Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, valued, and hopeful about their future. Sadly, for many children living in foster care, these basic foundations can be difficult to find.

Frequent changes in homes, schools, and caregivers can disrupt a child’s education, friendships, confidence, and sense of belonging. The instability they experience can have a lasting impact on their emotional wellbeing, learning, and future opportunities.

At Bridgetown Stepping Stones ELC, we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive. That is why we are proud to be taking part in National Pyjama Day and raising funds for The Pyjama Foundation.

By simply wearing our pyjamas and donating, we can help provide children in foster care with something truly life-changing: a dedicated Pyjama Angel mentor.

Pyjama Angels are specially trained volunteers who commit their time, care, and support to a child who needs it most. They do more than help with reading and homework—they become a trusted role model, a positive influence, and a consistent source of encouragement. Through meaningful relationships, they help children build confidence, improve literacy skills, believe in their abilities, and dream bigger for their future.

Every donation helps recruit, screen, train, and match a Pyjama Angel with a child in care, giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential and know that someone believes in them.
