We need your help to continue our work

If you have the means to, please make a tax-deductible donation today to ensure a child in our waitlist receives a Pyjama Angel that they’re eagerly waiting for.

You can make a difference in the lives of young people just like Emily.

Your donation will power our Love of Learning and Teen Life skills mentoring Programs, enabling us to recruit, screen, and train Pyjama Angels—compassionate and kind individuals.

These resilient yet vulnerable children will benefit incredibly from the guidance, support and kindness of their own mentor.

Donate today and help kids like Emily have the best possible chance of achieving their dreams, despite their fragile start.

Meet: Emily and her daughter Harper

My name is Emily, I’m 20 years old, and I have been lucky enough to have had the support of The Pyjama Foundation for many years.

I received my own Pyjama Angel when I was 12 years old – her name is Laura, she helped me when I was in desperate need in high-school, and she continues to be someone I lean on for support.

Over the 8 years Laura has been by my side, she has helped me with writing assignments, how to find confidence in myself and continues to encourage me to keep trying new things and to pick up skills.

This has become more important as I am a new mum to an 18-month-old girl named Harper. As I was coming to terms with becoming a mother, I was nervous to share the news with Laura, but she was nothing but supportive and has wrapped us both in love ever since.

Harper is my world, and I want only the best for her, which is why I reached out to The Pyjama Foundation to see if Harper could have her own Pyjama Angel – someone who can sing and read to her while I upskill at some of The Pyjama Foundation’s Teen Life Skills workshops like the barista course or resume writing classes.

By attending these courses, and doing these workshops, I know it will open more doors for me employment-wise, and my daughter and I will benefit.

I know first-hand how much The Pyjama Foundation, and Pyjama Angels can do for young people just like me. Which is why I wanted Harper to have her own Pyjama Angel.

Someone to read and play with her while I work to ensure she has everything that I couldn’t have while I was growing up. I want to pave a future she can be proud of.

Our Matching Partner: CGC

A big thank you to our Supporters
