This Pyjama Day, our team is wearing our PJs to raise vital funds for kids in foster care - because every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
Children in care often face significant challenges, moving between homes and schools, which disrupts their education and sense of stability. Without support, they risk falling behind in school, struggling with mental health, and facing a tough road ahead.
That’s where The Pyjama Foundation comes in. Together, we’re fundraising to help recruit, train, and match dedicated “Pyjama Angel” mentors with children in care.
These mentors read books, play learning games, assist with homework, and—most importantly—build confidence and life skills that set these kids up for a brighter future.
Every donation, big or small, makes a real impact.

🌙 Pajama Day: Helping Little Dreamers, One Cozy Step at a Time 🌙
Wednesday 4th JunThis year, I’m proudly wearing my pajamas to raise funds for a cause very close to my heart.
Pajama Day isn’t just about wearing comfy clothes — it’s about showing up for children in care and vulnerable situations. And for me, it’s deeply personal. I grew up in foster care, moving through 13 primary schools and 7 high schools. Pajama Day was one of the small, joyful moments that helped me feel like I belonged — even if only for a day.
It gave me something to look forward to. It made me feel seen. It reminded me that I wasn’t alone.
With the support of programs like this, I found the strength and resilience to keep going — all the way to a successful Year 12 graduation. Now, as an early childhood educator and mum, I’m passionate about creating those same moments of joy, connection, and care for others.
